Engaged

Well, I am happy to announce that Greg and I are engaged! Upon my arrival in Hawaii on Thursday September 2nd we drove to the hotel were we are "living" until Next Friday. I had been traveling and on a 6 hour time difference so I was exhausted. Greg convinced me that because it was sunset we should go down and find the Honu (sea turtles) that I had been dying to see. They frequently come up the beach around sun set and you can usually see a lot of them. We walked about 15 minutes down the beach and found a baby turtle. He was the size of a large dinner plate which isn't even half the size of the others ones I have seen. You aren't allowed to touch the turtles but we took a lot of pictures! We walked a little further but didn't see anymore. We did see a lot of little crabs running around though. As we were standing there looking out into the ocean Greg said he found his old journal and laughed when we has reading through it. He found an entry from November of 2008 (the month we started dating) that said he was pretty sure he found the girl he was going to marry. He then dropped a knee in the wet sand and asked me to marry him. I just looked at him and said what are you doing, a bit shocked. I said yes, and dropped down to hug him. I am so excited and I love the ring he picked out!
